why is dispensing technology crucial for renewable energies?

Wind turbines run for 20 years or more, solar parks for 25 years and longer. The installed electronics – inverters, generator controls, control boards – must survive this service life without maintenance. Encapsulation and sealing are the first and often only protective barrier against moisture, condensation, UV radiation and mechanical influences. At the same time, generator windings in wind turbines require precise trickle impregnation – a demanding process that is difficult to master with conventional dispensing technology. The encapsulation of energy storage and battery systems is also becoming increasingly important in the course of the energy transition.

How is quality ensured with different material viscosities?

A: Our volumetric dosing systems (e.g. dos piston and dos screw) work independently of viscosity. They always deliver a precisely defined quantity, which ensures high process reliability even with temperature fluctuations.

Can very small components also be potted?

A: Yes, the dos screw progressive cavity dispenser enables precise dosing of very small quantities from 0.3 µl, ideal for encapsulating relays, sensors and other miniaturized electronic components.
