Gluing parts together, like welding and soldering, is a form-fit method of joining parts. Dispensing machines allow the two components of a joint to be durable linked using a specifically determined adhesive, avoiding damage to the part and heat ingress.

Gluing applications often take on further functions such as sealing or thermal conduction. Traditional methods of joining such as bolts and welding are increasingly being replaced by higher-performance gluing processes. This is because of the development of ever more efficient adhesives.

With dosmatix dispensing technology, the most varied adhesives can be applied exactly to predefined points on the part, for example, adhesive dots or strips. Here, in most cases, 1K or 2K adhesives are used based on polyurethane (PU), silicone or epoxy resin. The viscosity is determined by the requirements for the adhesion process in question. The range runs from fluid to highly viscous media that cannot flow.
