The automotive industry and electromobility place the highest demands on every production step – especially on dispensing technology. Whether for potting control units (ECUs), sealing connectors or thermal management for power electronics: one millimeter too much, one second too early or one degree too cold can cause the entire system to fail. Dispensing systems from dosmatix deliver the precision, repeatability and process reliability that safety-critical automotive components absolutely require.
Modern vehicles contain hundreds of electronic control units, sensor clusters and power modules. Each of these must be reliably protected against vibration, overheating, temperature changes, moisture and chemical influences. Potting and bonding applications are not a peripheral process, but a core process for quality: they determine the service life, the protection class (IP protection) and the functional safety of the components in the vehicle.
With the transition to electromobility, the requirements continue to increase: thermal interface materials (TIM) for power electronics, large-area cell connectors and abrasive thermal conductive pastes require specialized and process-reliable dispensing solutions. The highest quality requirements also apply to the numerous additional sensors and control units, for example in the field of autonomous driving. A failure caused by environmental influences would have potentially serious consequences.
potting
Bubble-free potting of ECUs and sensors with 2K epoxy resins or 2K polyurethanes, often in a vacuum.
sealing
Production of liquid seals (automotive connector potting, FIPG/CIPG) on connectors and housings with 1C RTV silicones.
bonding
Structural bonding of sensor holders or housing parts with 1C epoxies or polyurethanes.
thermal management
Precise bead application of abrasive, Al2O3-filled thermal conductive pastes on power electronics.

dos piston
Piston dispenser, 2K
The first choice for precise 2K potting of ECUs, sensors and power modules. Vacuum potting in combination with a dos vac vacuum chamber enables bubble-free results to be achieved even with complex geometries. Continuous operation with alternating pistons (version M-A / L-A) is ideal for series production. Especially for TIM applications with larger quantities.
dos screw
Progressive cavity dispenser, 1K/2K
Specialist for abrasive TIM pastes (e.g. Al₂O₃-filled), high-viscosity silicones and pasty potting compounds. Guarantees pulsation-free bead application and programmable thread breakage without dripping.
dos gear
Gear piston pump, 1K
Perfect for continuous sealing seams (FIPG/CIPG) on housings, plugs and lids. Ensures a uniform flow even with varying viscosity – ideal for series processes with seam application.
frequently asked questions and answers
A: By using our dos piston piston dispenser in combination with a vacuum chamber. The process takes place at a vacuum of up to 5 mbar, which reliably prevents air inclusions in even the most complex components.
A: Yes, our dos screw progressive cavity dispenser is specially designed for processing highly filled and abrasive materials such as thermally conductive pastes (TIM). The operating principle is low-wear and gentle on the material.
A: Yes, our systems can be fully automated. With travel speeds of up to 600 mm/s (dos in-line kinematics) and the dos control system, they are designed for short cycle times and the traceability requirements of the automotive industry.
